Join the folks who clean our streets and VOTE NO on B!

SAN FRANCISCO'S streets are some of the dirtiest in America. Prop B takes the nonsensical step of entirely eliminating our Department of Sanitation in order to save the city just a small portion of our budget. All we can expect are even filthier streets and sidewalks.

BOARD of SUPERVISORS INTERFERING
To clean our filthy streets, 2020 voters passed a proposition to create an independent Department of Sanitation, free from political interference by the Mayor or Board of Supervisors. Now the Mayor and Board of Supervisors are trying to kill the Department of Sanitation and take those powers back.

FBI INDICTMENTS for BRIBES
Prop B would kill the Department of Sanitation and turn street cleaning over to the Department of Public Works which is currently being investigated by the FBI and whose Director was arrested for taking bribes. We can’t let corruption stop our streets and sidewalks from being cleaned.
CORRUPTION and TRASH at DPW
Until recently the Department of Sanitation didn’t have an independent oversight commission and was controlled by the Department of Public Works. This led to the FBI indicting the former director of Public Works, Mohammed Nuru, for accepting $900,000 in bribes. This measure would eliminate the reforms implemented by voters just two years ago and open up the department to corruption again.
